NAME: MEDHA AGGARWALBATCH: 2018 (BSc CHEMISTRY HONOURS)ENROLMENT ID: 18CY24My name is Medha Aggarwal. I did my 10+2 from Cambrian Hall with 93%. After 10+2 I was selected for BSc Chemistry Honours program at Doon University in 2018.From the state of Uttarakhand I'm the only student who has been successful to get admission in Indian Institute of Sciences Bangalore in integrated PhD program. Before completion of my BSc honours at Doon University, I qualified JAM as well as GATE and my JAM rank was 241. I give the complete credit of my unbelievable performance and success to department of Chemistry of Doon University. Whenever, I rationalise the reasons of my success I find that in addition to my hard work and dedication, the experience and orientation of my professors of Chemistry Department (Doon University) was one among the main factor. As the faculty members of Department of Chemistry are having international experience they know very well what kind of content will be beneficial for the student. During the teaching courses they provided assignments. At that time, we didn't knew that these assignments are based on the scheme on which the questions of competitive exams are also based. I found that such assignments are very unique. It is also a challenge to solve such assignments with the help of referring to many books, such an exercise helps us to understand the concepts and also improve our ability to solve the questions which are asked in the competitive examination. Our faculty members used to send the assignment on google classroom. At the end, I would like to conclude by saying that these 3 years at Doon University had been a been a fun roller coaster ride. There are ups, there are downs but when you look back at these wonderful years they would have changed you completely, you would have outgrown yourself. A special thanks to Dr.Arun Kumar, Dr.Charu Dwivedi, Dr. Subramanyam Garimalla, Dr. Som Dutt, Dr. Shiva Aggarwal, Dr. Sushil Kumar, Dr. Kapil Tomar, Dr. Shipra Nagar, Mrs. Kavita Kothari (Eminent humans and experienced professors in Department of Chemistry.) |
