Based on the Annual Plan for the Centre finalized by the RAC the staffing of the Centre, in its various Research Projects and Programmatic activities, the Research and support staff would be selected by a Staff Selection Committee ( SSC ), which is composed as follows :

NTPC Chair Professor	Chairman
Faculty Nominee of the Vice Chancellor, Doon University	Member
Registrar, Doon University	Member
Research Associate i/c	Member Secretary

Norms and academic qualification of the Research Associate and Research Assistant be normally those which are prevalent in institutions of higher learning/Universities/Centres of Higher Learning but the it would be within its power to harmonies them as per the budget availability of a given Research project or a Study. Support staff would always be engaged on contract following the practice for engaging contract staff by the University in their Schools and Centres.

Member Secretary of SSC would be responsible for maintain all service related matters, including selection, appointment etc and he would be under the over all supervision and guidance of the Registrar of the University.
