Campus Bytes is a student-run monthly paper which hopefully heralds the beginning of an exciting journey. The idea is to give a forum to students to hone their creative skills. They can learn to identify the idea of a subject to write on, identify news stories, write reports, opinions, comments and other narratives, edit, give headlines, lay-out and design pages, take news photographs suitable for the write-ups, draw cartoons, sketches and finally bring out the paper, thus connecting to their creative self.
Bringing out a very small newspaper also can be a very exciting activity. It would also be a long-term documentation process. The paper should capture major developments within and related to the university, take contributions and involve larger section of students, teachers and non-teaching members, harness their writing skills and become some sort of a face of the university.
